During the 6th month, babies will begin to either take shorter naps or skip naps sometimes.  At this time, babies should be averaging a total of 14 hours of total sleep in a 24 hour period.  It can range from 11-12 hours during the night and 2-3 hours during the day.  If you find that your baby is skipping naps or taking shorter ones, it probably is that you need to extend play time, to take care of that problem.  This is my Baby’s current schedule:   7:30  a.m.- Diaper change, gets dressed and drinks milk.
